Sophie Reed

Clinical Neuropsychologist Registrar at St Vincent’s Hospital and PhD candidate at Macquarie University, with experience supporting people with neurological conditions and their families. Her PhD research focuses on the cognitive, emotional and everyday impacts of brain cancer, and how people can be better supported to understand and adjust to these changes. Sophie is passionate about providing practical, compassionate support that recognises the whole person and the challenges that can arise throughout the brain cancer journey.

The TBCG Brain Cancer Education Series will run alongside the face-to-face Morning Tea Conversations, providing different ways for people across the brain tumour community to connect, learn and access information and support.

The series is presented by The Brain Cancer Group in partnership with Brain Tumour Alliance Australia (BTAA), helping us extend these educational sessions to the wider brain tumour community.
